How to Use the Pricing Estimator

Build a quick proposal for monthly bookkeeping plus any catch-up / cleanup work. Adjust volume, add-ons, and complexity to estimate a realistic service range.

Monthly plan Add-ons Complexity Cleanup pricing Market rate slider

Step 1 — Choose Monthly Volume

  • Select the transaction range that best matches the client (micro → high volume).
  • The scope box shows what’s included in every monthly plan (recon + reports + admin support).

Step 2 — Add-Ons

  • Check boxes for services that increase time and risk (Payroll, GST/HST, Invoicing).

Step 3 — Complexity Factor

  • Standard = organized books
  • Disorganized = more corrections and follow-up
  • Shoebox = heavy cleanup, missing support, higher effort

Step 4 — Cleanup / Backlog

  • Set how many months need historical catch-up.
  • This drives a one-time cleanup project fee to get books current.

Optional — Configure Rates (⚙️)

  • Use the Market Rate Adjustor to scale pricing up/down for local market conditions.
  • If results are already showing, moving the slider automatically refreshes the proposal.
What you’ll see: a Basic monthly option and a Standard (Recommended) option, plus a separate Cleanup fee if months behind are selected.
Note: This is a pricing estimator for proposals. Final pricing should consider industry, QBO file quality, number of accounts/apps, sales tax complexity, and responsiveness.
